Sexual Assault Allegations

A New York Times report puts on the "fit to print" record what has been rumored about for years in regard to sexual misconduct by Louis C.K. Emily Nussbaum shares her reaction, and David Sims considers how the industry will grapple with this. Producer Mike Royce, who has worked with Louis C.K., says he never saw the alleged behavior but stands in support of the women sharing their experiences. HBO has cut ties with C.K., while FX says the matter is under review. Scaachi Koul says the C.K. revelations feel like a personal betrayal given his self-aware comedy routines. Willa Paskin looks back on Louie in light of the recent news.

There's also been a sexual harassment allegation leveled against Matthew Weiner by Mad Men writer Kater Gordon. Meanwhile, Terry Crews has dropped WME as his representation in the wake of his sexual assault allegation against an agent there.
