AMC Premiere as Paradigm Shift

Andrew Wallenstein sees AMC's new ad-free on-demand service for Comcast subscribers as a potential paradigm-shifter: "If AMC Premiere catches on, basic cable networks don’t have to just serve as a prerequisite to the additional purchase of premium channels; they can make their own premium channels and keep a good portion of that additional revenue."
