Girls Coverage

Lots of talk about HBO's upcoming Girls, both positive and negative, and you can follow even more from an academic perspective on a Facebook page called Blogging Girls. James Poniewozik interviews Lena Dunham & part 2, part 3.  Sepinwall interviews Dunham and another producer and reviews the show, as does Mo Ryan. Rebecca Traister says the show breaks ground in depicting female friendship. Jace Lacob has reviewed the show positively, but the commenters don't appear to like women in general very much.
