Student TV producers will want to check this out: "The Television Academy Foundation (charitable arm of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences) has officially opened nationwide submissions for two of its renowned educational programs: the 33rd College Television Awards competition (informally known as the “College Emmys”), and the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship, which recognizes students making strides in the field of children’s media...Both programs champion the core educational goals of the Foundation, which are to preserve and celebrate the medium of television and educate those who will impact its future."
