TVMcGee : Forget #TheBiggestLoser. I think #TheWalkingDead is the best weight-loss show on TV, in that I can't imagine eating after watching it.
ChelseyLora : FX: channel for masculine shows w/ amusing, strong &/or insane female characters #SAMCRO #Justified #ItsAlwaysSunny #Archer #Terriers #etc
weinmanj : I somehow wound up watching a Caroline in the City episode the other day - Liz Lemon is eerily like Caroline (except Liz is funny). CAROLINE was one of several '90s shows that insanely tried to pretend ridiculously pretty women could easily be undesirable to men. Liz Lemon is sort of a modern version of that, crossed with a bit of Meg Griffin and just insane enough to make it semi-plausible.

weinmanj : What bedevils fiction writers: plausible doesn't = it _could_ happen, or even it _did_ happen. It = it's _statistically likely_ to happen.
zhandlen : We often struggle with the distinction between plausible and possible, yes. Although, obviously, better an impossible event than an implausible one.
JimHalterman : Catching up on #TheBigC episodes. I love #LauraLinney but I can't help but think I should be loving this show more. Am I alone?
fymaxwell : Alec Baldwin was the original John Hamm.
TVandDinners : I think my OU/OSU feed just got switched to video game mode.
crsbecker : Thus far, the ND-USC TV broadcast is nearly as dramatically exciting as a cable access city council meeting. … This game is like an episode of Glee it's so uneven. And Ryan Murphy has written ND's character. #ND-USC
weinmanj : Trope (tm) you can count on as the ending for many episodes of any Greg Daniels shows: the characters lose the contest but are happy anyway.
tvoti : Also, don't know if you know this, but this is the 37th anniversary of Samantha Mulder's disappearance. Thanks, commenters!
raypride : Tonight On A Very Stabby L&O... RT @SennettReport: Good grist for L&O episode | Online retailer antagonizes customers ~http://nyti.ms/etXCXa
spotupj : The promos for season 2 of #Vseries seem to just review the premise of the show. Did anything actually happen in season 1?
amandafrench : On Mad Men, they should have Don Draper start reading some Foucault in the original French, e.g. Birth of the Clinic, published in 1963.
surlyF : Maybe Don will be in Baltimore in 1966 for Derrida's Structure, Sign, and Play in the Discourse of the Human Sciences at JHU.
amandafrench : The scripts, they write themselves.
NoelMu : Watching terriers. Not the TV show, the breed. Animal Planet dog show. (Still some twists. Didn't expect that one dog to get killed.)
Memles : A thoroughly charmingly disturbing first season for Archer, no? Will be watching in S2, most definitely. Watch on S1 Netflix if you haven't.
michaelianblack : If we're all smart enough to know we cannot predict the future, why do the smartest people on every single TV news show do nothing but try?
JuddApatow : I don't laugh hard any more. Only Extras made me laugh out loud out of control. I should watch zero entertainment for a year and refresh.
ShittingtonUK : Just finished my Dexter-inspired screenplay about a rapist who only rapes rapists! Wish me luck!
thesurfreport : Catching up on #InTreatment. Irrfan Khan's performance as Sunil is a master lesson in the best kind of acting: the kind you can't see.
